Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Home Health Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: No Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience, depending on the specialty License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase and Oasis - Reliable transportation with a current driver's license and agency-required liability insurance Job Description: - Provide, coordinate, and direct home nursing care according to physicians' orders based on agency policies and procedures through the competent application of the nursing process. - Responsible to the Clinical Manager. - Directly supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. - Required to conduct home visits and attend periodic office meetings. - Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. - Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc. - Assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. - Complete all documentation within 24 hours of patient appointments to ensure timely billing and follow-up care. - Engage with homes and Assisted Living Facilities. - Possibility of contract extension or permanent hiring at the end of the contract. - Charting expertise with HomeCare HomeBase and proficiency in Oasis required. Note: Local candidates accepted at the same rate. Must be comfortable with driving to patient homes daily and to the clinic for weekly meetings.
