The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both sales and operations, demonstrating a track record of success in leading and growing a business within the moving and storage industry. As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth, expand customer base, and increase market share.
• Lead and motivate the sales team, setting ambitious goals, and providing guidance to achieve targets.
• Foster strong relationships with key clients, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate contracts and pricing.Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of moving and storage services.
• Establish and maintain operational processes, quality standards, and performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Monitor and optimize resource allocation, including equipment, manpower, and transportation, to maximize efficiency and profitability.Team Development:
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales professionals and operations staff.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and ongoing performance feedback to enhance individual and team capabilities.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage the annual budget, regularly monitoring financial performance and taking proactive measures to meet or exceed targets.
• Analyze financial data, market trends, and industry insights to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Ensure effective cost control measures are in place while maintaining service quality standards.
• Drive a customer-centric culture throughout the organization, prioritizing exceptional service and building strong customer relationships.
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to customers' needs.Qualifications:
• Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a leadership role within the moving and storage industry.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market presence.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, make data-driven decisions and manage budgets effectively.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
