Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturing company in the Clayton area recruit for a Production Supervisor to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity working on 1st shift.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet operational goals.
Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to optimize efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance and maintenance, to address any production challenges.
Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance outcomes.

Requirements:

Must have 3+ years leadership background in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes.
Candidates must have production scheduling experience.
Ability to effectively manage assembly and packing processes.
Must have strong computer skills including experience with ERP systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.
Bilingual with English and Spanish a plus.
Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
