What you'll need to succeed as a Financial Planning & Analysis
Intern at XPO:Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a
bachelor's degree
- 2 or more years of relevant coursework
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook)Preferred qualifications:
- Education toward a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting,
Business Analytics, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to
present clean, organized, and thorough information and data
appropriate for the intended audience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability
to set priorities and meet deadlines
- High energy work style with a strong drive to succeed
- Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision
or in a team environment; able to consult with team members and
management as needed About the Financial Planning & Analysis Intern
PositionWhat you'll do on a typical day:
- Have the opportunity to work with this professional team in
critical areas like forecasting, and monthly operating
reviews.
- Participate in a 12-week program where you will assist in
ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating
recurring reporting and analysis, and gain exposure to
presentations with senior leadership
- Engage and communicate effectively with other professionals
throughout the organization
- Participate in team meetings and projects
- Act as a key contributor to projects that impact the business
and solve real problems
- Utilize accounting systems such as Oracle - Hyperion Financial
Management
- Assist with reporting and analytics
- Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships
with internal customers
