SummaryThe Mitigation Team Lead is responsible for leading the
Mitigation Department or Team to ensure mitigation resources are
deployed in a timely and effective manner to ensure Paul Davis
customers receive the highest and most urgent care possible in
property emergency situations. This role requires significant
coordination with other functional leaders within the business to
ensure the team is always providing extraordinary care while
serving people in their time of need.What does a Paul Davis
Mitigation Team Lead do?
- Ensure the team's successful performance of water mitigation,
mold remediation, environmental services, tarping, board up, and
floor cleaning/re-installation services in accordance with Paul
Davis and industry specifications.
- Be a great representative of our brand!
- Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer
service.
- Assist other team members when needed and foster a positive
working relationship with other departments.
- Ensure your crews are ready at all times and every morning to
handle the day through a team huddle.
- Meet clients and adjusters on site to assist in issue
resolution and provide professional opinion.
- Re-inspect job sites for quality control.
- Issue resolution - be the point of contact for customers if
they have any questions and/or concerns and resolve those in an
effective and timely manner.
- Maintain inventory of clean, properly stocked, and organized
trucks along with all company equipment.
- Be accessible by phone and participate, as necessary, in the

- Current knowledge of mitigation techniques, technologies,
equipment, and methods.
- Willingness to work in emergency or on-call situations, which
may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Sound hiring judgment and documentation skills.Education,
Certification and/or Work Experience Requirements:Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous leadership experience in restoration, construction, or
a related industry.
- Certification in restoration or related field preferred (e.g.,
IICRC certified).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Preferred:
- 1-3 Years of leading a team in the restoration
environment.
- IICRC certifications - ASD, WRT, FRST, AMRT.
- Xactimate Certified.
- Core Logic or Next Gear Experience.
- Fluent using MICA or similar software.Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over
the phone and face to face.
- Occasionally will lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
- Be comfortable with enclosed spaces.Work Environment:All
mitigation staff often work outside the confines of a traditional
office setting. They can work in various locations, including
construction sites, industrial facilities, residential areas, and
remote or rural locations. Mitigation staff may encounter diverse
weather conditions, ranging from extreme heat to cold, rain, and
snow. They should be prepared to work in these conditions and have
