an Infrastructure Specialist, you will collaborate with global team
members and external partners to manage and maintain networking
infrastructure across the Americas. Your responsibilities will
include supporting Group IT Infrastructure & Services, contributing
to business objectives, and actively participating as a project
team member.Essential duties:Partner ServicesManage existing
partnerships to maintain, support and design of Merz global
standard infrastructure solutions.Networking InfrastructurePartner
with cross-functional teams to design, deploy and support
networking solutions.Cisco LAN switching and routing, Cisco WIFI
wireless LAN controllers, FortiGate SD-WAN, FortiGate firewalls,
Cloud hosted firewalls and zero trust remote access.Manage building
circuits for SIP, MPLS and Internet.Maintain global security
standards applied to all services.OT Firewall support for
manufacturing locations, network segmentation and VLAN
configuration.Local building cabling support and design.Unified
CommunicationsSupport services for Cisco Webex and Call Manager, as
well as seamless integration with Microsoft Teams for voice and
video collaboration. Additionally, support integrating Cisco Room
Kit solutions with both Cisco and Microsoft Teams
environments.SecuritySupport and maintenance services for internet
security and remote access solutions. Alignment with security team
on Merz global security standards. Able to understand, implement
and troubleshoot firewall policies based on application
requirements.Tier 3 SupportOperate as Tier 3 support of technical
issues within the environment. This includes partner interactions
to solve issues. Work as project team member and lead cross
functional projects.Establish and Follow ProcessMaintain high
standards in terms of written materials, documentation, SLA's and
follow process and procedures relative to ticket management and
change control. Job related qualifications/skillsEducation-
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business
Administration/Management or other applicable field of study. -
preferred- Certifications or equivalent preferred- Cisco CCNA, Boot
camps, Technical training, Cisco Call Manager preferred-Fortinet
experience with FortiGate firewalls and switches
preferred-Experience with Zscaler service ZIA and ZPA
preferredProfessional experience-5+ year experience in a medium to
large enterprise environmentRequired-5+ year experience with
routers, switches, firewalls and wirelessRequired-3+ year
experience in Cisco Call Manager, Webex and MS Teams audio and
video.Preferred Knowledge, skills and abilities (incl. languages)-
Knowledge of Microsoft (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group
Policy)Preferred- Knowledge of Hybrid Networking and SD
WANRequired- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows ServerPreferred-
Understand TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP and other routing
protocolsRequiredKnowledge of methods- Knowledge of VOIP systems
and circuits SIP, MPLS, InternetRequired- Familiarity with ITIL or
related service delivery frameworksPreferred-Cisco best
practiceRequiredPersonal skills- Excellent verbal and written
communication skills requiredRequired- Ability to work as a member
of project teamsRequired- Provide technical leadership and training
for Tier 1 and Tier 2 TeamsRequiredMay require some travel
