Job Description:

Modis has an immediate job opening for a Reporting and Analytics Consultant with one of our premier clients in Charlotte, NC. This job opportunity is supporting Data and Analytics within the organization.  We are seeking a "hands on" Reporting and Analytics Consultant with a strong background in consulting and analytics.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  

• Responsible for consulting with Operations and / or clients in order to help define reporting solutions.
• Advises customers on reporting tools capabilities and best practices in response to client value-drivers and/or current business challenges.
• Coaching junior consultants, identifying business requirements, management, functional design, prototyping process, design (including scenario design flow mapping) testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.
• Must have strong SQL/Analytics skills. Would prefer someone with a variety of reporting tools such as Qlikview, Tableau, Business objects, etc.
• Conduct regularly-scheduled reviews to ensure Operations and clients are receiving the right data at the right time to support their business and client value propositions.
• Facilitate meetings and presents reporting and data solutions to Operational counterparts and external clients both prospective new and existing.
• Serves as a lead resource for interpreting data and information; communicates results to Operations and/or clients and makes recommendations.
• Provide consultative support to business partners on appropriate use of data the application of reporting and quality assurance standards.
• Operates as the primary contact between the business and the reporting team responsible for delivering reporting solutions.
• Assesses reporting needs; provides recommendations for enhanced solutions and matches needs to Reporting tools and capabilities.
• Works with customers to provide consultation on the best use and interpretation of information as well as limitations.
• Works with Reporting and Information Technology team members to communicate requirements and ensure delivery of quality Reporting solutions.

 
Desired Qualifications:

• 
  

• 5-6 years of experience in reporting metrics development and data analysis required
• Strong knowledge of reimbursement and PAP operational programs and / or pharmaceutical sales and marketing business disciplines
• Background in report development standards and methodologies.
• Experience leading teams in a consulting/advisory atmosphere
• Strong knowledge of key business processes and drivers
• Strong client-facing customer service orientation and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of healthcare data in general and reimbursement data
• Expertise with reporting tools and capabilities
• Familiarity with the following or related technologies: Business Objects Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services SharePoint and data warehousing concepts.
