• Ensure smooth functioning of hospital switchboard communications
• Answer and route correctly all incoming and outgoing phone calls
• Assist patients, take messages and log calls for physicians, staff and others
• Monitor and respond to alarm panels
• Respond to codes promptly and appropriately
