Are you up for the dare?This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.POSITION SUMMARYAs a Controls Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing the accuracy, reliability and system control's data credibility of PLC and PC-based automation systems. In this role, you will oversee PLC upgrades and wiring modifications on production equipment, and work directly with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and support production line modifications.Position schedule will be on a 2/2/3 and 6pm - 6am night shift.Configure, program, and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)Perform preventive maintenance for controls and organize electrical/control parts inventoryProvide programming and electrical support on plant capital projectsImplement control systems software upgradeProvides instrumentation, PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support to plant maintenance staffRequirementsAssociate's degree in a technical, electrical, or related discipline or completed electrical apprenticeship and 1+ years of experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting, PC-based HMI-systems, electrical or military related experienceORHigh School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience in PLC software and hardware troubleshooting, PC-based HMI-systems, electrical or military related experienceThe approximate range for this position is $61,000 - $83,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
