SmartSource is looking for a Field Support Technician for a 4 week opportunity in Raleigh, NC.

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 4 weeks

Location: Raleigh, NC 27607Pay Rate: $20/hour

Job Description: Our customer is seeking a Field Support Technician for a 4 Week opportunity located in Raleigh NC area. The technician will be tasked with doing day to day onsite break/fix support across 3 offices in Raleigh NC area. Travel between sites will be reimbursed but NOT from home to the 1st site and then a commute home as that is considered a standard commute. Reliable transportation will also be necessary as the technician will support multiple offices. This is standard hardware and software support at all of these locations. 40 hours a week for a period of up to 4 weeks

Qualifications:

Must pass a drug and criminal background check before starting

2-3 years’ experience working in the IT field

2-3 years’ experience troubleshooting users in a windows based environment specifically Windows XP/Windows 7

Must have Windows 7 migration background

Must have hardware troubleshooting background on desktops, tablets and laptops

Must have excellent communication and customer services skills.
