We are currently seeking candidates to provide the best service through efficient route planning, to use safe lifting techniques, and always practice defensive driving skills by performing the following duties:Makeallstops assigned and to pick up or deliver orders for customers or suppliersRelay requests or complaints received from customers immediately upon returnObey all traffic regulationsImmediately reportany accident, injury, or traffic citation issued involving a company vehicle, and to await instructions from the Branch ManagerLearn and remember the locations of streets, buildings, and customer locationsCheckthe conditionof the assigned vehicle, dailyReport any defects, potential problems, unusual vehicle wear to Dispatch immediatelyMaintain a minimum of one-half tank of gasoline in the vehiclesRecord the mileage reading on the odometer on the Daily Trip sheet as requiredBecourteous and polite to customers or any other individual with whom you may come in contact while representing this companyMaintain communications with dispatch via cell phone while making pick-ups and deliveriesAttend occasional company-wide meetings and/or training.Review deliveries for accuracy by comparing to customer invoices before deliveryAttend defensive driver classes and complete company safety training according to company policyExperience and Qualifications:High School Degree or equivalent education1+ years of experience as a Delivery DriverAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and alignoperationsand salesprocesses to achieve business resultsSelf-motivated with the abilityto work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversightDemonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships withinternal and external customersWhat We offer:Pay Rate: $19- $22/ hourExcellent Company support and resources.Excellent Company Reputation because we consistently receive 5-star customer reviews.Comprehensive Employee benefits that include full health, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as a 401-K Plan with company matching.A management team that supports you and wants to see you be successful.Culture of caring for our employees.If you require reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process due to a disability, please submit your request to jobs@e-arc.com and use the words Accommodation Request in your subject line.To all recruitment agencies:ARC does not accept agency resumes.
