The RN in Emergency Services provides essential patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment, utilizing skills in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is critical in addressing the physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs of patients while collaborating with the healthcare team. Candidates must be registered nurses, preferably with experience and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

Position Summary:
The ED RN will provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position will meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family and will communicate effectively with all members of the health care team as appropriate about changes in the patient's condition or response to treatment.Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:

Required Education:
Associate degree is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred
Required License:
Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)
Required Certification:
BLS required

ACLS is required within 6 months of hire
Other:
1 year of experience in a health care setting is preferred
