TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Burlington, North Carolina, 27215 Pay Information $2,041 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: MS/Tele Float Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. No first-time travelers. License: Valid nursing license required upon submission Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) preferred Must-Have: - EPIC experience - Medical-surgical and telemetry experience - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response teams, accessing ports, CVA, total joint, and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) - Previous charge experience preferred Job Description: - Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts at night, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM every other weekend and holidays as needed. - This is a float pool position; floating within skillset is required and expected. - Nurses will be assigned to a specific seven-bed unit with potential staffing in other areas if volume is low. - Team typically consists of two RNs per assigned rooms without a nurse tech. - Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6, focusing on medically stable adults requiring 24-hour nursing. - Routine vital sign monitoring is generally every four hours but can accommodate more frequent monitoring for short-term needs. - Orientation includes 16 hours and non-billable module completion, estimated at 2-4 hours. - Compliance with background checks and education verification through a third party is mandatory. - COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions permitted. - All travelers are subject to float to any affiliated campus if needed. 26779726EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS MS Tele Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
