• BLS - Basic Life Support
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• NIH Stroke Certification
  • Job Details
  • Must have Cardiac PCU experience & be comfortable with 1:5 ratios
  • 3x12s, Days, 7a-7p
  • Weekend Rotation, Holidays as needed
  • Minimum 2 yrs exp required. FIRST TIME TRAVELERS - OK!
  • Ratios 1:4 with drips/bipap, otherwise mostly 1:5
  • EPIC
  • Use of Rapid Response Teams preferred
  • Nurse Assistants 24/7. RN secretary 7a-11p.
    • Job Requirements
    • Interpretation and Mgmt of dysrhythmias
    • Telemetry -on the unit monitoring
    • Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
    • Peripheral Line Care and Management
    • PICC line management
    • Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
    • Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
    • Procedural Sedation Administration
    • Titrate Cardiac drips
    • Titrate Vasoactive drips
    • Chest tubes-Emerson
    • Pleur-evac
    • External CPAP BIPAP
    • Tracheostomy Management
      • Schedule Information
      • Staff are scheduled for a 6-Week period via a self-assisted schedule through Optilink
      • Staff are distributed within the schedule based on departmental need and based on patient work intensity, skill mix and previous assignments.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Always required for Cardiac Progressive Care, MS/Tele
          • Additional Details
          • Government-Issued Photo ID Required
          • Required for all candidates unless specified below. Must be AHA or ARC.
