Unit Description: Come work for the world's leading private employer of Registered Dietitians! - -Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Dietitian Nutritionist II -to join their clinical nutrition team at UNC Health Johnston Clayton Facility a 50 bed facility. - -The Dietitian will assist the Smithfield location as needed. This new team member will be responsible for providing support to inpatient units and outpatient clinics, as assigned. -Start with 3 weeks' vacation and 3 personal days!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! -The Dietitian Nutritionist will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and will: - - ---- Be a Registered Dietitian with at 3----5 years---of experience. - - ---- Advanced certification (CNSC) or CDCES preferred, but not required. - - ---- Prior nutrition support experience is preferred - - ---- Maintain responsibility for comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments, - - - - intervention including nutrition support, education, and counseling patients and their families - - - - per the Nutrition Care Process model. - - ---- Provide education to patients, as well as staff, and work well with physicians, nursing,---occupational and - - - - - - - - - - speech therapists, and other ancillary staff. Liaison for food service. - - ---- Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and - - - - - - - - - - - - - - make decisions while working within a self-directed and team- oriented work environment. - - ---- Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide variety - - - - of individuals and groups. - - ---- Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, as needed. - - ---- Strong time management and organizational skills are required to be successful in this position. -Is this opportunity right for you? - We are looking for candidates who have:

Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
