Job Description:
A company is looking for a Head of Federal Affairs to lead its
federal engagement strategy and advocate for policies that enhance
drug discovery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a federal advocacy strategy to reduce costs
and streamline drug development
Build internal systems for tracking legislation and coordinating
lobbying efforts while ensuring compliance with regulations
Cultivate bipartisan relationships with government stakeholders and
represent the company's interests in legislative discussions
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in federal government relations, preferably in
healthcare or biotech
Track record of advocating for legislation that promotes
affordability and accelerates drug development
Experience in building or scaling federal affairs functions in a
high-growth environment
Strong negotiation and project management capabilities
Bipartisan mindset
