together.Role description:Arcadis is looking for a Part-time Senior
Management Consultant to join our National Resilience Water Team in
Charlotte, NC! This position will be 20 hours/week, with the
potential for full-time employment after 3 months.The Senior
Management Consultant will act as a technical resource in the areas
of water quality and water treatment and support our national Lead
and Copper and PFAS team in proactively providing regulatory
guidance and technical direction for drinking water compliance.Role
accountabilities:
- Support national leaders in the implementation of National
Primary Drinking Water Regulations to address the Lead and Copper
Rule Revisions (LCRR) / Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI)
and PFAS pursuit initiatives, projects and programs, including, but
not limited, to services around service line inventories, lead
service line replacing planning, sampling and monitoring, corrosion
control treatment, public education and outreach, and data
management.
- Provide comprehensive support for funding and grant management
activities related to LCRR/LCRI and PFAS initiatives.
- Provide technical assistance on drinking water projects,
encompassing master planning, regulatory adherence, treatment
optimization, and various scale studies and investigations.
- Apply water treatment engineering, chemistry, and microbiology
principles to contribute to design criteria development, enhance
plant performance, and tackle water quality issues
efficiently.
- Conduct in-depth technical research on alternative water
quality solutions, analyzing water quality policies and
regulations, preparing project scopes, work plans, budgets, and
schedules, and assigning work tasks effectively.
- Mentor junior staff members, overseeing tasks of different
complexities, communicating technical information to colleagues and
clients, and supporting marketing efforts and client relations
through technical expertise.
- Regularly submit abstracts for drinking water conferences, with
preparation and delivery of presentations if the abstracts are
accepted. The job may also require travel for project site visits,
client meetings, or attending conferences.Qualifications &
Experience:Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience to include water quality,
regulatory compliance, and LCRR.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biology, or related
degree.Key Skills and Attributes:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability
to effectively communicate with clients and regulatory agencies in
the areas of Water Quality and LCRR/LCRI.
- Prior experience in utilizing digital tools and data analysis
to drive prioritization and decision making.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent
tasks.
- Strong focus and attention to detail.
- Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills.
- Strong database management, data visualization skills,
dashboard development, and data reporting experience.Preferred
Qualifications:
- 7 years of engineering experience focused on water quality,
treatment, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
related to drinking water compliance, specifically the Lead and
Copper Rule and PFAS.
- Active participation in Water Quality, PFAS and LCRR/LCRI
conferences/associations at the state and/or national level via
committee memberships, presentations, and/or association leadership

The hourly range for this position is $39 - $59/hour. Actual
salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as
