primary responsibility of the Commercial Account Manager is to
achieve the assigned territory revenue goals by managing pipeline
of sales opportunities through the sales process from prospect to
close. As a customer-facing seller, you will have ownership of all
elements of revenue growth within your Named Commercial territory.
This includes discovering and developing new opportunities,
managing pipeline, and managing customer growth. This role is
quota-driven and will represent NetApp in top Named Commercial
accounts within the territory while working with partners, your
aligned Commercial Territory Representative, Sales Development
Representatives, Account Technology Specialists, Customer Success
Managers, and Renewal Specialists to exceed overall sales
objectives. Must live in Tennessee area Responsibilities Leadership
of overall account strategy for the pursuit of both traditional and
transformational opportunities Account planning with core account
teams, incorporating overall account strategy, identification of
transformational pursuits, stakeholder mapping, and stakeholder
pursuit strategy Pursue and develop relationships with customer
stakeholders, including C-level executives Develop, pursue, and
close strategic traditional, and transformational sales
opportunities Build and maintain relationships with key partners
Support formal RFP's - functioning as the business lead for
solution development, pricing & strategy Meet or exceed semiannual
sales goals Maintain an understanding of competitive market
positioning relative to NetApp solutions Qualifications Must live
in Tennessee area 8+ years Account Management experience in a
relevant industry with commercial or enterprise customers Ability
to work independently and solve customer-facing problems Ability to
convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help
customer make buying decisions Track record of successful solution
selling Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and
presentation) Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $259,000 - $350,000.
The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location,
qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of
this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE)
representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the
base salary and potential commission earned when performance
targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive
and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of
factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may
cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension
Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock
purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's). These offerings
are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws,
