About This Role

The Accounting Manager will lead Carrier Rentals and Spot Coolers accounting team. Leads team of intermediate to experienced Accounting professionals, setting objectives and guiding others on execution of general accounting processes, such as inter-company cash, cash management, government accounting, financial reporting, project accounting, and / or balance sheet management. Develops and explains accounting procedures, and control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month end, quarter end, and year-end financial close process
  
• Support, coach, and mentor accounting staff
  
• Review and approve team members' journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
  
• Submit timely and accurate deliverables to consolidations team
  
• Support tax filing and interact with auditors as needed
  
• Lead annual GAP Assessment, SOD Assessment and other internal controls deliverables
  
• Partner with business to provide accounting support
  
• Work with controller and business partners to establish and maintain robust internal controls environment, including assisting with physical inventories
  
• Maintain accounting standard work documentation
  
• Special ad-hoc projects as assigned by Controller
  
  
  Required Qualifications:
  
  • Bachelor's Degree
    
  • 4+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • 3+ years working in a services or manufacturing environment
      
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting specialty
      
    • CPA or CMA
      
    • Adaptable to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy within a diverse organization
      
    • Demonstrated knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
      
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations effectively to Management in both written form and orally
