They have recently opened an office in Raleigh in an effort to expand their market in the south. The Assistant Project Manager will be tasked with assisting Light-industrial, Healthcare, and Large scale commercial projects, conception through completion. • Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly schedule to support and preserve the Contract Project Schedule
• Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
• Dictate or prepare project reports for management, client, or others
• Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
• Take part and assist with the pre-planning and conceptual phase
• Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders and maintain them moving forward
• Work with subcontractors - create and maintain positive relationships
• Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule.Profile The successful Assistant Project Manager will have the following:
  • 1-3 years of Construction experience with a General Contractor or Sub-Contractor
  • Personable, money motivated attitude
  • Bachelor's Degree in construction related field
  • Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
  • Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success Job Offer The Successful Assistant Project Manager can expect in an offer:
    • Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $85,000-110,000
