Senior Mechanical Engineer
Position: Full time (Remote work on Friday)Location: Charlotte, NC
Metric Geo is working with one of the worlds leading firms who are looking to expand their team with an experienced Engineer. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Responsible for project management, including the conceptual approach to all trade-specific systems on multiple projects, and ensuring approach implementation through the management of resources.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises 1 - 2 employees, leads EOR or Project Manager for Projects up to 100M construction costs
• Assists Technical Manager and Chief Engineer in business unit technical training and staff mentoring
• Perform mechanical/HVAC calculations including code research
• Participates in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management.
• Manage mechanical project teams and/or interdisciplinary project teams
  Qualifications:
  
  • 7+ years' relevant mechanical design experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred
  • Bachelors' degree in mechanical engineering
  • Revit and AutoCAD
